1940's Pierce 'New Old Stock'
New Old Stock
Movement cal. 103
ca. 27.5/39.5 x 27.5 mm
This square Swiss Pierce watch has been hidden away for approximately 85 years. The mere fact it has never been worn, makes it so extra special, it looks quite amazing, wouldn’t you say? Besides some itsy-bitsy tiny weenie, barely visible scuffles to the chrome, the watch looks as if it has just rolled of the production line. Stunning shape case with teardrop lugs and sunken crown. The snap-back is stainless steel and the original acrylic crystal is dome-shaped. The pristine dial has raised Roman numerals which are not all that common, not so much the raised mind you, but the Roman factor
The Pierce is carrying an all in-house Swiss Made 103-caliber, 15 jewels manual wind movement, that has been freshly serviced and is currently ticking steadily. The original 1940’s old brown strap is still attached to the watch.
